About Tempo Demain
Radif Partners
Publisher of household electricity calculators · Tempo option, off-peak hours, regulated tariff
Tempo Demain is published by Radif Partners. It answers two questions that hundreds of thousands of French households ask every winter day: what colour will tomorrow be, and does the Tempo option really save money against Base or Off-peak?
Why this site exists
On those searches the top results belong to comparison sites that earn money by putting you in touch with suppliers. The colour of the day sits next to a number to call and a button asking to call you back; some calendars count a different number of blue days than their own counter. We wanted the opposite: the colour RTE publishes, counts that add up, and a calculation on your own consumption, asking nothing in return.
Where the figures come from
The colour is read straight from RTE’s open data several times a day. Prices are those of the official blue tariff grid, set on the energy regulator’s proposal. The split of heating between blue, white and red days is worked out from national demand measured by RTE since 2014. Everything, formulas included, is in the calculation method.
What we are not
Radif Partners is not EDF, RTE, Enedis, an electricity supplier or a broker. We sell no contract, take no commission and pass on no profile. A cost shown here is an estimate on the regulated tariff: your bill is what counts.
Funding and data
The site is free and needs no sign-up. Calculations run in your browser and nothing you type is stored. If it ever carries advertising, it will never sit above a calculation or be presented as a recommendation.
Why an English version
Every page exists in English for people who have moved to France and are meeting the vocabulary of the blue tariff, off-peak hours and red days for the first time: French terms are explained, amounts stay in euros.
